The TREES FOR MALAGA aims to alleviate the effects of major fire occurredthe first days of September 2012 and create fixed reforestation crews.

The "TREES FOR MALAGA" aims to alleviate the effects of major fire occurredthe first days of September 2012 and create fixed reforestation crews.

Reforestation is expected to begin in early November 2012, and weexpect the force of nature and the first rains allow time to flora tothrive after surviving the disaster.

Trees will be planted 3 or 4m. at the edges of roads and trails, which will facilitate irrigation maintenance and decrease waiting time for thesespecimens spreading seeds around. They create small tree nurseries indifferent locations, so it will require a collection of native seeds andmaturation in the very particular local nursery or anyone who wants toplant at home.

Each tree will be located by GPS and sponsored by an individual or acompany. The sponsor will receive tree photographs that will beappreciated for its exemplary development, just as have the opportunityto visit and care the trees.
Itwill provide access to the website, and also an automatic personalwebsite, where they can keep track daily, add pictures and interact withother users.

The cost of the sponsorship of a tree is 35 €.
The cost of the sponsorship of five trees is 100 €.

These voluntary contributions will:

- To finance the purchase of trees.
- Plantar Sponsored specimens. Planting on roadsides
- To support small nurseries in different municipalities.
- Costing support risks in the first 3 years.
- To pay salary compensation crews responsible for reforestation. (*)
- To pay salary compensation prospectors sponsorship. (*)

(*) These posts will be offered to unemployed youth committed to working with this project.

MALAGA.COM appear on trees to the list of sponsors, and the amount of theirsponsorship. The website will have access to all information relatedexpenses, a map to the location of both the local nursery, as the treeor trees once planted in the forest and the services of the web.
